Tamale & Kintampo, Ghana, – Bridging the Digital Divide for Rural Students
Main needs: Projector, projector screen, laptops, digital camera, internet access, and transport logistics for school outreach.
Organisation: iStep Africa
Capital needs: €1,000 (for projector, projector screen, two laptops, digital camera).
Operational needs:€3,000 per year (for school visits, internet access, digital literacy training materials and trainer).
About the project: Many rural students lack access to digital tools and training, limiting their opportunities in an increasingly tech-driven world. iStep Africa equips students with essential digital skills through interactive school workshops on responsible social media use, online learning, and digital literacy. With basic IT tools like projectors and laptops, your support can help train at least 600 students across 15 rural schools annually, equipping them with the digital skills needed to thrive.
Donate decommissioned laptops or other equipment from your office, or donate funding for one or more laptops.
Contact us to discuss the training you’d like, and we’ll happily receive a donation, matching it with a charitable project that will benefit.
